SCIENCE WORKSHOP ON “BUILDING SPECIFIC MECHANISMS AND POLICIES TO DEVELOP THE TOURISM IN THE NORTHWEST OF VIETNAM”

In the morning of December 19th, 2015, The Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Science and Humanities – Vietnam National University together with Association of Vietnamese Folklorists held the science workshop on “Building specific mechanisms and policies to develop the tourism in the Northwest of Vietnam”.

Participants attending the workshop were the representatives of the Northwest area and more than 80 scientists and experts in tourism. The workshop was led by Assoc. Prof. Tran Duc Thanh, the chairman of the faculty’s science and education board, and Dr. Tran Huu Son, vice president of Association of Vietnamese Folklorists. More than 10 speeches were presented in the workshop and received many profound opinions.

 

The workshop was successfully held. This was considered as a forum for the scientists, experts, business mangagers and executives to not only share the knowledge, experience and idea to build the suitable mechanisms and policies for the tourism in the Northwest.
