A “Travel – guiding, preparation and opportunity” meeting with Mr. Pham Thien Vu

On September 21^st , Faculty of Tourism, University of Social Sciences and Humanities was honored to welcome Mr. Pham Thien Vu (Tommy Vu Pham) to exchange and share his experience in the program “Travel – guiding, preparation and opportunity”

The program attracted the attention of many staffs and students in the Faculty as well as students of other faculties of the university such as the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Vietnam Studies, International Studies, etc. Beside guest Pham Thien Vu, the program also welcomed MSc. Nguyen Hong Loan - Director of Foreign Language Center and Mr. Phung Gia Tuan - Director of America Discovery Company. At the meeting, students who have the same “Tourism” dream had the opportunity to acquire very valuable guiding experiences from the guests, to hear small but very useful stories from a man who had been to more than 60 countries, 5 continents and 35 US states. After the meeting, each participant gained themselves more motivation and information to continine chasing their dream of being a tour guide. During the meeting, students also had the opportunities to ask questions in order to get the right direction for future careers in the travel industry - guiding.

After the success of the program "EXHIBITION-GUIDING: PREPARATION AND OPPORTUNITY", Faculty of Tourism is expected to organize more exchange programs for students of the Faculty as well as other students from other universities to obtain more knowledge and experiences for Tourism industry as well as guiding.
