Happy New Year 2016

On the occasion of the new year 2016, on behalf of the Committee, the Board of Faculty of Tourism Studies, I would like to send to the teachers, students/ alumni, partners of the Faculty wishes, happiness and prosperity.

In 2015, the year marked the important milestone in the 70 years (1945-2015) of the traditional construction and development of Hanoi University of Literature, now University of Social Sciences and Humanities University. Hanoi Country. 2015 is also the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities celebrates 20 years of establishment (1995-2015). Over the past year, the Faculty of Tourism has overcome many difficulties and challenges, achieved outstanding achievements together, such as:

- Creating successfully a hospitality management program and organizing first year examination;

- Converting the master's program from a standard program to research program;

- To build and gradually complete the program of Doctor Tourism Management to be considered;

- Organizing two domestic conference, one international seminar and a series of seminars with the participation of local and foreign schools.

- Expanding international cooperation through exchange international scholars from Rikkyo University (Japan), Kumamoto University (Japan), Nagoya City University (Japan), Arizona State University (USA), Greifswald University (Germany), Chiang Mai University (Thailand), Kent University (United Kingdom), Bradford University (UK), ...

-  Celebrating successfully the 20th anniversary of its founding.

In 2016 with many opportunities and challenges, leaders, lecturers, students of the Faculty of Tourism Studies will continue to promote cooperation with national and international organizations. Therefore we need to build and develop the Faculty in the direction of standardization, modernization, innovation and integration, and contribute important parts to the development of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University and the development of Vietnam Tourism.

We would like to thank all agencies, organizations, teachers, students/ alumni, for their interest, support and cooperation with the Faculty of Tourism in 2015. Once again, wishing all the teachers, students and family a new year abundant health, happiness and success.
