Faculty of Tourism Studies Joins JENESYS 2.0 Program in Japan

Introduction: From 1/7/2014 to 10/7/2014, Master Dinh Nhat Le - Lecturer of faculty of Tourism Studies, College of Social Sciences and Humanities participated in JENESYS 2.0 program in Japan. The program is sponsored by the Government of Japan for faculty, students and people under the age of 30 to visit Japan, exchange culture, learn about Japanese tourism.

From July 1, 2014 to July 10, 2014, Dinh Nhat Le, a lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism Studies, College of Social Sciences and Humanities, has been accepted by faculty of Tourism Studies ,  through the Vietnam National Administration , had a tour under JENESYS 2.0 program in Japan. The program is sponsored by the Government of Japan for faculty, students and people under the age of 30 to visit Japan, exchange culture, learn about Japanese travel. Vietnamese delegation consists of 10 members from many universities, with many majors such as Studying, Vietnamese Studies, Oriental Studies. ...

Within the framework of cultural exchanges, the Vietnamese delegation was able to visit many famous landmarks in Tokyo such as the Emperor Meiji Temple, the famous area of ​​electronic Akihabara, Shinjuku neighborhood where is a place having  a lot of Cosplay fans love. The delegation also visited a number of Japanese Universities in Tokyo and Kanagawa, along with the Panasonic High Tech Center, visited the KAO ... In addition to the official tours, the delegation also experienced Japanese culinary culture through a variety of meals in various parts of Tokyo and Yokohama. Japanese dishes are not only deliciously cooked, but the presentation is very sophisticated, beautiful and enough food for each person with all necessary nutrients.

 

With the purpose of cultural exchange between countries, introducing Japanese culture to world friends, the Vietnamese delegation had a stay at Japanese families in Kanagawa in the form of home stay. These Japanese families join the volunteer network, regularly welcoming students and faculty from all over the world. Although the stay is not long, all the members of the Vietnamese delegation have had the experience of living, chatting, sticking and touched with the sentiments and hospitality of Japanese families.

 

Through the program, lecturers and students of the Vietnamese delegation have learned many lessons on how to travel with a humble lifestyle, discipline, close to the nature of the Japanese and create a connection with young Japanese people. It is hoped that there will be more and more opportunities for students and students of the Faculty of Tourism Studies to broaden their understanding and broaden their exchanges with friends from all over the world.
