SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE "TOURISM TRAINING IN RESEARCH UNIVERSITY

The workshop took place on the 17^th April  2015 by the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities organizations towards the 20th anniversary of the establishment and development of Faculty (21/10/1995 -21/10/2015).

The workshop is a forum for the faculty and staff in the Department, the tourism industry practitioners, researchers at the ministries and agencies, scientists, faculty members at the university training tourism, and other stakeholders to exchange experiences, share knowledge and the latest research findings on the subject of tourism training in the current era.

Attendants of the seminar were invited from the General Department of Tourism, the Institute for Research and Development of Tourism, Art and Culture Institute National Vietnam, universities and colleges have trained in tourism and business representatives business travel, the press agency, representative managing board and several departments of University of Social Sciences and Humanities and all teachers and student learning Faculty of Tourism.

At the seminar, the speakers made presentations on two topics "tourism training in universities" and "Tourism training and social demand" for specific content such as applying Title Standard travel skills (VTOS) version 2013 in teaching, research and teaching Event Management in association with the tourism industry, analyzing TWOS  in terms of education and training today, linking well three groups: State - The school - Employers to promote the development of tourism human resources, tourism and culture - oriented tourism personnel training according to the needs of society. After each thematic presentation, the participants and teachers of the Faculty had exchanged and discussed the relevant topics. Many reviews of the delegates were related to the issues of quality human resource training in the universities, balancing between research and practice so that the graduates are fully equipped the skills and necessary expertise to meet the needs of employers, and on the issues linked to internal university training.

Scientific Conference "Tourism Training in research universities," the Department of Tourism was a step in the activities toward the 20th anniversary of the establishment and development of the Faculty of Tourism Studies (21/10 / 1995-21 / 10/2015). This activity helps to promote research activities associated with training and social practices with effort to turn Faculty of Tourism Studies into one of the prestigious addresses on training high-quality human resources in Vietnam as well as in the region.
