To celebrate annual the World Tourism Day, teachers and students of Faculty of Tourism organized successful gala dinner with the topic “Tourism and community development”.

This is a yearly activity of Faculty of Tourism, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi in order to respond the atmosphere of the World Tourism Day, contribute to widespread the meaningful message in sustainable tourism development. The program was directed, guided and greatly concerned by Dean Committee and enthusiastic members of executive board of Inter Union and Party Cell of Faculty of Tourism, especially this year there is a participation of teachers and students of University of Commerce to enhance the interactive relationship among Universities educating Tourism field in Hanoi.






Starting the event is the song “Hue- Sai Gon – Hanoi” of student group of Faculty of Tourism. The next song of K57 group “The love to Noong” is the harmonious combination of love and lifestyle deeply imbued with natural identity. Especially, the show-up of K59 fresh students with the elaborately staged drama “1 day tour” shows the reality and the effects on tourism destinations. Beside the participation of students of Faculty of Tourism, students of University of Commerce took part in gala dinner with skillful and vibrant dance sport performance. Fashion show of K 56 group succeeded with the winning of Miss Community Tourism. Gala dinner ended with the song “Radiant Vietnam” performed by all guests, teachers and students of Faculty of Tourism.






This event attracted the attention of all faculties and all universities in Hanoi, journal organization, partners, alumni and full-time, double-certificate and in-service students.





Gala dinner named “Tourism and community development” once again focused on the trend of Tourism to sustainable development goals of United Nations: “Community tourism must be the model dedicated to people life, attract the positive and responsible participation of local authority. Only when the residents are really involved in getting benefits, community tourism develops in the right way.” Simultaneously, the event brings message to advertise the image of Faculty of Tourism, University of Social Sciences and Humanities and strengthens cooperation, exchange experience with Tourism training center and partners, contributes to enhance the position of Faculty of Tourism.
