COOPERATION WITH YAMANASHI UNIVERSITY, JAPAN

In the morning of 28/8/2017, Dr. Pham Hong Long - Dean of Faculty of Tourism Studies and MA. Luong Ngoc Vinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Cooperation and Development, University of Social Sciences and Humanities received Assoc.. Ando Katsuhiro, Yamanashi University, Japan visited and discussed the potential for cooperation between the two universities. At the meeting, the two sides discussed and agreed on the contents of MOU between the two sides, especially the contents related to exchange of lecturers and students. The cooperation document is expected to be valid for a period of 5 years (after which it can be re-signed) will be signed as soon as possible. Also on this occasion, Vietnam, Assoc. Ando Katsuhiro introduced Fujita students - freshmen of Yamanashi University, to study in the Faculty of Tourism Studies for a period of 1 year, starting in September 2017. Both sides look forward to Fujita students will become bridge span for the relationship between the two schools.


Additional information: Before moving to be trainers as a trainer in Yamanashi University of Japan, Assoc. TS. Ando Katsuhiro worked at Showa Women's University, Japan and for about 10 years he was a specialist of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and worked in Vietnam in the field of tourism. He is the author of the book "Practical Handbook of Rural Tourism Development in Vietnam", published in 3 languages (Japanese, Vietnamese, English). This is valuable and meaningful about theory and practice for the development of agricultural tourism, rural tourism and community tourism in Vietnam interested readers can type the book ‘s name to search at Google.
