CALL FOR PAPERS: International Scientific Conference 30th Anniversary of the Faculty of Tourism Studies
“Contemporary Issues in Tourism Research”

Venue: University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) Hanoi, Vietnam
We are pleased to invite you to submit original research papers to the International Scientific Conference titled "Contemporary Issues in Tourism Research", held in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (USSH – VNU).
The conference serves as a platform for academic exchange and experience sharing among tourism managers, researchers, educators, and industry professionals, focusing on emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the tourism sector. It aims to foster scholarly dialogue on research findings, theoretical perspectives, and practical experiences.
In particular, in the context of a rapidly changing global tourism landscape—marked by technological advancements, regulatory shifts, and evolving tourist behavior—tourism research and training have become key drivers for sustainable development. The conference aspires to establish a formal scientific forum for discussions on critical issues, innovative practices, and future directions in tourism.
The event is co-organized by the Faculty of Tourism Studies – USSH, VNU Hanoi in collaboration with Durban University of Technology (South Africa)and Rikkyo University (Japan), with participation from governmental agencies, research institutions, and tourism businesses.
