On 14/04/2017, Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU has successfully organized the students’ scientific conference in 2016-2017 school year.

The students’ scientific conference of the academic year 2016-2017 attracted a great number of scientific research ideas from the students

This year, from over 60 original scientific research ideas, 19 topics of individual students and student groups have been selected to invest to develop into a scientific research report. This year's reports are more diversified in the field of study, directly related to the three disciplines of the Department of Tourism: Event Management, Travel Management and Hotel Management. Moreover, the reports also have a thorough investment in content and form should have been appreciated by the teachers in the Department of Tourism.

Students present scientific research reports to the Evaluation Council

To get to the last scientific conference report, the reports were guided by a dedicated teacher of the Faculty. At the same time, the Faculty held seminars to support and answer the questions of students during the study.

After nearly 4 hours of hard work, the teachers in the Council found the best scientific research from a double student group consisting of Vu Thi Huong and Phung Huong Dung with the topic "Develop homestay calendar in don village, Pu Luong, Thanh Hoa province ". In addition, the Council also awarded two second prizes, three third prizes and 13 consolation prizes for the remaining studies.

 

 

Teachers in the Faculty award for promising research

The scientific conference of students from 2016 to 2017 successfully took place, closing the "one season" scientific research of students of the Faculty of Tourism Studies. Joy, sadness, and regret will still be matter to the students. But above all, they have overcome themselves to experience the feeling of being "scientist". The Faculty of Tourism Studies is making great strides in supporting students to research and create the most favorable conditions for students to have a good academic environment.
