In the framework of sustainable tourism development projects lasting 4 years from 2014 to 2017 between University of Social Science and Humanity and Faculty of Geography of Greifsward University, Germany. On March 26 and 27, PhD. Pham Hong Long, Dean Deputy of Faculty of Tourism and Associate Professor Ph.D Tran Duc Thanh, Deputy of Tourism culture and geography had a meeting with Professor Steingrube and Assistant Kristin from Greifsward University, Germany.
In 2 working days, Mr. Steingrube and Mr. Tran Duc Thanh respectively made presentations about introducing such 2 new subjects on training program of Master of Tourism as Regional Planning and Tourism Consulting. After the presentation period, both sides gave constructional comments to suit these subjects with socio-economic context and reality of university education in Germany and Vietnam.
In the 2-day framework, both sides made discussion about some matters such as jointly cooperating in holding international conventions, exchanging students, staff of Greifsward University to Vietnam to take study tour and vice versa. The meeting took place in friendly and cooperative atmosphere.
