OVERVIEW OF DOUBLE-DEGREE TRAINING PROGRAM

The Faculty of Tourism Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a prestigious establishment in tourism and travel management training. Established for more than 15 years, the Faculty has gained many achievements in the field of training, science research and international cooperation. The Faculty has refined a distinctive mission of training and improving qualified human resource. Many students graduated from the Faculty has had a successful career as government’s tourism officers, lecturers of colleges and universities, managers at tourism companies, and specialists for tourism-related projects, etc.

 

The science researches conducted by the Faculty’s officers at the ministerial and National University level were highly appreciated by many tourism agencies and experts. Besides, the Faculty has not only carried out many exchange programs but also cooperated to hold seminars, conferences and to conduct many joint researches with a lot of foreign universities. As a result, it has built a good relationship with many universities providing tourism training courses such as University of Toulouse Le Mirail (France), Rikkyo University (Japan), Department of Tourism – Munich University of Applied Sciences, etc. Thanks to the experiences as well as the achievements in training and research activities, it was honoured to received certificates of merit from Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Hanoi People’s Commitee, and Prime Minister of Vietnam.

 

Over 1700 full-time students enrolled in the Faculty are under the instruction of 20 experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated teachers. The training curriculum is intensively designed with regard to both tourism related subjects and supplementary ones. The combination between theory learning and practice enables our students to better adapt to the working environment and fill the needs of the tourism, hotel and event industry.
