Dear lecturers and students, learners – alumni!

It has been nearly 20 years since Vietnam National University put the first brick to build a new training sector: Tourism Studies. 

During a long journey with so much changes, Faculty of Tourism Studies has gradually asserted its pioneering position in tourism training and research; become a national reputable and high quality training institution. From that cradle of training, so many generations of students, learners are excited to join, study, practice and grow up, and now they are holding the different positions such as: researchers, travel managers, supervisors of travel companies or hotels, international and domestic guides, event and festival organizing specialists… They are reputable both in Vietnam and abroad, and they are the pride of the faculty. 20 years is not such a long journey but it’s enough to mark certain successes which were contributed by many generations of lecturers and students. Looking back over the passing time, expressing the gratitude to the people and places that contributed to us is a Vietnamese good tradition that existed for thousands years. In the bustling atmosphere of celebrating Vietnam Teachers’ Day, to continue the tradition of previous generations, Faculty of Tourism Studies solemnly holds the program:

“20^th ANNIVERSARY OF ESTABLISHMENT OF FACULTY OF TOURISM STUDIES”

The program is a series of events in order to recreate the process of building and developing the Faculty, meeting and expressing the gratitude to lecturers and students, contributing to the resolutions to help the Faculty develop more and more strongly.

Particular activities include:

1.     Publication of the book 20 years of Tourism Studies which contains the writings of lecturers

2.     Publication of the Yearbook by photos

3.     Faculty of Tourism Studies Introduction Video Making

4.     Photos gallery

5.     The meeting with former lecturers and alumni

6.     The meeting to celebrate 20^th anniversary of establishment of faculty of tourism studies 7.     The Gala Night

To organize the event successfully, the organizing committee is looking forward to receiving the contribution of all lecturers/former lecturers, alumni and students.

-      Money donations: The activities in the program need significant budget to implement. The donation of the lecturers/former lecturers, alumni is the important budget contributing to the success of program. The Organizing committee ensures that all monetary donations as well as expenditures will be transparent.

-      In-kind donations: The Organizing committee also hopes to receive in-kind donations, including any product or service the lecturers/former lecturers, alumni can support for the program.
