Student of Faculty of tourism studies achieved Chung soo scholarship ( Korea)

On December 28, 2016, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities awarded 80 Chung Soo scholarships to students who had excellent academic achievements in the past school year. Of which, the Faculty of Tourism Studies had 2 students honored to receive the scholarship. They were  Pham Thi Thu and Nguyen Thi Thu Hien, 3 rd year students in the field of tourism and travel management.

"The Korean Chung Soo Scholarship Fund was established in 1962 by Mr. Park Chong Hee in order to foster talents for the socio-economic development of Korea. Then it have expanded support to other countries to contribute to the development of human resources in some developing countries.

From 2007 up to now, the Fund has selected the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - the highest quality research and education center in the country in terms of social sciences and humanities. This year, both students receiving the scholarships of the Faculty of Tourism  Studies are disadvantaged students who have reached the high school achievement in the past school year. Each scholarship worth $ 250 is both a gift of material support and a spiritual gift to motivate students to strive for excellence in learning as well as in life.

At the awards ceremony, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Principal of the University sent his sincere thanks to the Chung Soo Scholarship Fund and other international organizations for their interest and effective support, accompanying the school in implementing the objective of raising the quality of training and research and training of talents to meet the requirements of integration and development. "*

MA. Vu Huong Lan - Vice Dean of Faculty and representatives of Faculty of Tourism Studies also attended the ceremony and gave encouragement and encouragement to students who received the scholarship to Make good use of the resources inside and outside the school for learning, training and more outstanding achievements in the coming time.
